BICYCLING NAMES TCR ADVANCED SL 0 DISC “BEST NEW RACE BIKE”!
Bicycling Magazine highlighted the new TCR Advanced SL Disc in a feature on its website titled “The Best Road Bikes You Can Buy Right Now.”
Editors named the TCR Advanced SL 0 Disc, the flagship model of the new TCR range, the “Best New Race Bike.”
“Giant’s premier race bike gets a full redesign for model year 2021,” wrote Bicycling editors. “The frame is 140 grams lighter, which helps keep the top-of-the-line model at just 14.5 pounds (size large)—impressive for a bike with a power meter, disc brakes and 42mm-deep tubeless-ready wheels.”
Bobby Lea, Test Editor for Bicycling, wrote up a feature review of the TCR Advanced SL Disc that detailed all of the design features and technologies that earned it the coveted Best New Race Bike honor.
“Giant’s primary goal in creating its newest TCR was to design the most efficient—lightest, stiffest, fastest—bike possible, which it’s in a position to do,” Lea wrote. “Unlike other brands that outsource manufacturing to third-party factories, Giant has complete ownership of its process, from producing the raw materials to laying up the carbon and assembling finished bicycles.”
