Engineered around a lightweight, strong and durable aluminum chassis, the new Stance 29 combines our FlexPoint single-pivot rear suspension with progressive 29er frame geometry. Here’s a look at the key technologies that make it a confident, capable trail rider.

ALUXX ALUMINUM
Formed from raw material in Giant’s own forging facility, this proprietary alloy features 30 percent additional stiffness over traditional 6061-series aluminum, while reducing overall weight.

FLEXPOINT SUSPENSION
A proven “single-pivot” design that uses the flexing action of the chainstay/seatstay junction to produce a lightweight and durable suspension system with 120mm of rear-wheel travel.

OVERDRIVE
Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 ½” lower and 1 1/8” upper) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.

POWERCORE
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter-wide bottom bracket design. Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.

29-SPECIFIC TRAIL GEOMETRY
All-new “long and low” trail geometry with 67.5/75 headtube/seattube angles for aggressive handling is tailored for 29-inch wheels to optimize roll-over capabilities and high-speed momentum.
